Majid Majid Sir Jamia Milia Islamia University was former Professor Former and Head of New Delhi, Department of Geography. He has published and edited more than 48 books and over 100 Geography Research Paper related to Geography Subject.
He was also a member and chairman of the Indian National Cartography Association (1992). He had travelled to many countries. Many of his books have been translated into Hindi, Marathi, Punjabi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, kannada and Urdu Language languages.
He was very popular among the students of civil services. He was 81 years old and passed away on 25th January 2019.
